Blue light isn’t the only light that can worsen migraines. A lot of people with chronic migraines also suffer from photophobia or light sensitivity. The severity of this condition can vary from person to person but even those of us with just a mild light sensitivity can be bothered by it during a full-blown migraine crisis.
The next time you’re having a migraine, try reducing the light around you – pull down the curtains or maybe even slip on shades. It doesn’t matter if it’s indoors, sunglasses can be invaluable when you’re trying to finish your work and your head starts pulsating.
