Find a way to deal with stress
Chronic stress is one of the main causes and aggravating factors for migraines. It might also be one of the reasons why women suffer from migraines more often than men. According to the American Psychological Association (2), women report higher stress levels than men overall.
Regardless of gender, however, it’s a well-known fact that stress is a problem for people with migraines, so it needs to be managed as well as possible. Whether you reduce your exposure to stress or find additional ways to deal with it, the less stress you experience – the better.
