Find soothing scents that can relieve your discomfort
Certain scents can be a big problem for those of us suffering from chronic migraines. It’s not uncommon for something as simple as a college’s perfume or a strong odor to set off a powerful migraine episode. What’s worse, such scent triggers can be different from person to person. In most cases, however, a good solution is to have another soothing scent at hand to block the effects of the trigger.
Something as simple as a mint, tea, or coffee beans can neutralize the effect of the unpleasant scent triggers and relieve our discomfort before it’s become unmanageable.
