4. ACV Pickles
Pickles make a great alternative to chips when you need some side dish crunch for a casual meal. You can quick-pickle cucumbers by bringing to a boil some apple cider vinegar, a clove of garlic, a few dill seeds, and a sprinkle of salt; simmering for ten minutes; and pouring the mixture over your cut-up cukes (spears, slices, and chunks are all fair game, depending on your pickle preference). Refrigerate until cold, and serve. You can also use a modification of this recipe to pickle other veggies, too!
5. Avocado Coconut Cookies
In moderation, dessert can be an important part of a balanced, healthy diet, and these cookies are, surprisingly, packed with healthy (for dessert) ingredients, like avocado, coconut, bananas, and, you guessed it, apple cider vinegar, which is used to keep the cookies light and fluffy.
The combination sounds weird, but give it a try with this recipe, and you may be pleasantly surprised!
