4. Tequila-Lime Fish with Agave Vinaigrette
This recipe is a slightly more complicated one, so I’m going to let celebrity chef Ming Tsai provide the directions himself.
Essentially a full meal in and of itself, this recipe features sierra fish flavored with tequila and lime, served with a nopal (prickly pear) salad and topped with a vinaigrette made of agave, cilantro, lime juice, and plenty of other spices. All of these flavors come together for a light, but filling meal with an exotic twist.

5. Agave-Glazed Carrots
Need a quick side dish or an extra veggie? These agave-glazed carrots require only four ingredients, and a minimal amount of your effort and attention.
Peeled carrots are boiled until tender, and then mixed with agave, cinnamon, and the fat of your choice (the recipe calls for butter, but olive oil or a non-dairy buttery spread would work just as well). Then, just roast the mixture for 20 minutes, and serve an updated version of the family dinner classic.
