1. Ripe Bananas
As bananas age, their level of cancer-fighting Tumor Necrosis Factor also increases. TNF is a cytokine that kills off damaged or cancerous cells (7).
Broccoli is a cruciferous vegetable, which means that it contains cancer-fighting glucosinolates. This substance has the power to protect cells from DNA damage, inactivate carcinogens, fight viruses and bad bacteria, induce apoptosis of damaged and cancerous cells, fight inflammation, and inhibit angiogenesis and metastasis (15).
