There’s nothing fresher than in-season food. While the exact time frame of what’s freshest when might vary somewhat in your specific region, these recipes all feature fruits and veggies that should be coming into season right about now. 3. Couscous with Asparagus
This recipe for couscous with green and white asparagus is extremely simple, and really lets the flavors of the super seasonal asparagus shine through.
All you’ll need to do is cook up your couscous in chicken or vegetable broth, and add in the sliced asparagus in the last few minutes to steam. Season with salt, pepper, and olive oil, and mix in some raw arugula before servings for some extra green bite.
