Rainbow Fruit Salad with Honey and Lime

We all know we have to eat healthy foods but way too many people neither understand why nor know what it even means to eat healthily (1). In fact, it’s not uncommon for people to eat “pasta salads” and believe they are eating healthy because they are eating a “salad.”

So, how about we explore an actually healthy as well as unique and delicious salad? Here’s the recipe for the rainbow food salad with honey and lime. It’s a very quick fix, it’s full of nutrient dense foods, and it’s incredibly delicious.


  • 2 ripe bananas
  • 1 lb pineapple, diced
  • 12 oz blueberries
  • 6 oz blackberries
  • 1 lb strawberries, sliced
  • 3 mandarin oranges, peeled and sectioned
  • 4 kiwis peeled and sliced

Honey Lime Dressing:

  • 1/4 cup organic honey (organic, not pasteurized and processed!)
  • 2 teaspoon organic lime zest
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice

How to mix it:

This is the beauty of it – all you need to do is cut all the fruits, add them in a bowl, add the honey and the lime juice & zest, and mix everything together.
