This infographic from Fooducate clearly shows some of these extremely common food allergies in the United States today.
As you can see, food allergies and intolerances are extremely common. It’s easy to see how widespread these allergies are and those who suffer from celiac disease, gluten intolerances, and gluten allergies take the cake.
Over 18 million people in the US currently deal with gluten sensitivities. Lactose intolerance is also an extremely widespread condition that affects millions of people in the US.

Fooducate recently released an app that helps people keep track of allergens and found that gluten allergies or intolerances were, again, some of the most common, with 35% of app users checking up on gluten ingredients in their foods.
