What Type of Exercise?
Generally, moderate aerobic activity is advised, with some doctors adding that a few sessions of strength training per week in addition is optimal. That said, in terms of performance and efficacy, there are many schools of thought. For people just looking to get into shape, a steady jog might be just fine; for those looking to improve athletic performance, high intensity interval training might be the answer. Some studies also indicate that fewer, more intense workouts with more recovery time might be better than a moderate workout every day.
