#5 Switch Out Beef for ‘Game’ Meat
Research has found that a completely meat free diet can lower testosterone by 14%, as this lack of protein can boost testosterone de activating hormones. But in saying this, a diet also too high in saturated fats from beef and lamb can cause a dip in testosterone according to a study published in the Journal of Applied Physiology.
In the study, diets containing greater amounts of fats were correlated with higher resting testosterone levels. Specifically, the consumption of saturated fats was strongly correlated with higher resting levels of testosterone.
A meat that is not too high in saturated fats would be venison. So try snacking on a venison burger as a healthier option to a traditional beef burger – and be sure to serve it with a nice healthy portion of salad.

Many men often reach for expensive protein powders to try and increase their testosterone levels and stamina and strength during exercise. But as research tells us, there are many simpler everyday items that could offer the same testosterone boosting effects at a fraction of the price.
