Join a class at your gym
Choosing a class at the gym forces you to engage in an activity you wouldn’t otherwise engage in. Find a class that varies the most from your regular fitness activities.

No problem, simply change your rep scheme. This is a great way that enables you to continue doing some of those exercises you love but that still catch your body off guard. Change the number of reps on different days. One day do your routine with high reps, low weight. The next day try low reps, high weight. You can also vary the speed you do reps in to confuse the body even more.

If you’re a runner or biker, don’t allow yourself to be content with the same path. Get creative; find new paths, move faster for shorter distances or slower for longer ones. Heck, you can even run backwards for part of the way or do interval sprints while you run or bike.
Routine is the bane of getting the most out of your exercise. Don’t get complacent and boring; mix up your workouts for the best results!
