There are no formal scientific studies as to the chemistry of Breuss’ anti-cancer juice, however, testaments of those who have tried it abound.
Powerful Cancer-Fighting Ingredients
There is ample documented evidence that the ingredients in his juice have the effects claimed.
Celery – fiber-rich celery aids in purging waste and toxins from the body, including cancerous cells. Apigenin, its primary constituent flavone, has been associated with reduction of malignancies of cancers of the skin, prostate, breast, and digestive tract. (5)
Potato – according to Chinese research, the consumption of white vegetables, such as potatoes, cauliflower, and onions reduces the risk of stomach cancer. (6) These vegetables contain a high concentration of vitamin C, which is known to impair tumor growth.
Radish – part of the cruciferous family of vegetables, radish provide fiber, folate, vitamin C, antioxidants, and minerals to the body. Hundreds of studies on cruciferous vegetables have proven their anti-cancer potency. (7, 8)
The Breuss Cancer Cure
We know that cancer cells feed on sugar.
Breuss juice’s low sugar content, with an almost complete absence of glucose (a simple sugar), starves cancer cells while it nourishes healthy cells with vitamins, minerals, and phytonutrients.
The Breuss regimen is very strict, limiting juice intake to half a liter (approximately seventeen ounces) per day, supplemented by herbal teas throughout the day: green, sage, St. John’s Wort, Cranesbill, plantain, mullein, peppermint, lemon balm, and others. (9)

- 1 organic beet
- 1 organic carrot
- 1 organic celery stick
- 1/2 organic potato
- 1 organic radish
- Put one ingredient at a time in a juicer and process after each addition. Pour the strained juice into a glass and drink slowly within 30 minutes. Each recipe serves one.
- Continue drinking the juice and teas religiously for 42 days—then go see your oncologist and see the results.
Compost the fibrous remnants of the juice; part of Breuss’ protocol is the elimination of solid food, as these are broken down into glucose.
