Here’s How To Relieve Digital Eye Strain

by DailyHealthPost Editorial

One of the biggest causes of eye strain is the daily use of devices such as phones, tablets, computers, and televisions. These devices can cause eye strain symptoms such as headaches, blurry vision, irritated, red or dry eyes.

When at work take regular breaks from looking at your screen. Every 20 minutes look at something that’s 20 feet away for at least 20 seconds, this is known as the 20:20:20 rule. Ensure your computer screen is an arms-length away from you. The top of the screen should be just below or at eye level.

Adjust the color temperature on your devices so they give off less blue light, which is linked with eye strain. Many devices now have a ‘night mode’ or ‘dark mode’ feature which is designed to help with blue light related eye strain.
