Dr. Lauren Feder, a Los Angeles-based homeopathic doctor believes in the healing power of onions : “For colds, an onion pouch [a] in room can help with congestion,” she suggested.

Onion Sock Remedy
So how, exactly, do you put onion in your socks?
The first thing to do is cut up an organic onion (red or white) into equal slices.
If you move around a lot in your sleep, gently strap them down to your feet with some cheese cloth or cotton bandage before putting your sock on. Your feet should be comfortable and able to breathe. The last thing to do is just prop them up on a pillow and drift into sleep!
