7. Banana Peel
Apply banana peel on a clean face for 15 minutes. Rinse face with lukewarm water. This treatment can also help prevent and treat pimples.
8. Mayonnaise Mask
Mix a small amount of vinegar, 1 egg and organic mayonnaise to form a face cream. Rub gently into the skin. For problem areas, apply for 20 minutes and rinse off. This mask is not recommended for oily skin types.
9. Avocado Mask
Mash 1/2 of a ripe avocado with 2 tablespoons of honey and apply to the face. Let it sit for 20 minutes and rinse well. This mask is great for all skin types, especially dry skin.
10. Exfoliating Sugar Scrub
Exfoliation can be effective in unblocking clogged pores, stimulating blood flow to the skin and reducing pore size.
Sugar is a natural source of glycolic acid. Glycolic acid boosts new cell production and breaks down the protein that keeps the dead cells hanging onto your skin.
To make this scrub, mix organic sugar cane crystals with coconut oil to make a paste. Gently scrub on your face in a circular motion, rinse and wash as usual. You can also try this recipe with sea salt or baking soda.
