NBA Los Angeles Lakers all-star, Kobe Bryant led the way for other professional athletes to go Paleo. After a devastating Achilles tendon injury that could have benched his NBA career, Bryant, with the help of the Laker’s Paleo-friendly doctor, Cate Shanahan and his trainer, Gary Vitti. Bryant switched to pasture-fed proteins, eliminated all sugars and processed foods and limited his carbs and as a result, he feels he was able to recover from his injury.

“I feel like I can run all day long,” says Bryant who adds, “A lot of that has to do with diet and being committed to it, and watching what I eat.”
